Drainage Engineer

You’ll be the one turning up when a drain’s blocked at a house or a business, and leaving it running again.

What you’ll do

  • Unblocking with rods, electro-mechanical machines and jetting
  • Working out what’s wrong and telling the customer in plain English
  • Minor repairs and drainage plumbing

What helps

  • Drainage or plumbing experience
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Staying calm, working tidy and being decent with customers

CCTV Drainage Surveyor

Camera surveys and the written reports that go with them. Clients are homeowners, buyers, insurers and businesses.

What you’ll do

  • CCTV surveys with push-rod and crawler cameras
  • Coding defects and writing up the report
  • Tracing and mapping drain runs

What helps

  • MSCC5 coding or WinCan experience, or happy to learn it
  • Attention to detail
  • A full UK driving licence

Digging out, laying and repairing drains. Soakaways and land drainage too.

What you’ll do

  • Excavation, pipe laying and reinstatement
  • Soakaways, French drains and inspection chambers
  • Digging safely around buried services

  • Plant or machinery experience
  • Relevant site safety cards

It changes through the year, so we’re always glad to hear from good people. Send your CV with the role you’re after. If something suitable comes up, now or later, we’ll get in touch.

Not for a trainee role. There, being reliable, having a good attitude and wanting to learn count for more. For engineer, surveyor and groundwork roles, relevant experience helps, and we’ll talk through what you’ve done.

Our jobs are spread across the East Midlands. For engineer and surveyor roles you’ll usually need a full UK driving licence. Tell us your situation when you apply.
